About This EPF Calculator
This EPF (Employee Provident Fund) calculator helps you estimate the retirement corpus you can build from regular EPF contributions. It considers your monthly basic salary, employee and employer contribution rates, yearly increments, and the EPF interest rate.
How to Use
- Enter your monthly basic salary + DA that is eligible for EPF.
- Set your employee and employer contribution percentages (12% is common).
- Choose the number of years you expect to contribute to EPF.
- Add an expected yearly salary increment (for future basic salary growth).
- Set the EPF interest rate (as per latest EPFO notification).
- Click “Calculate EPF” to see estimated contributions, interest, and total corpus.
Assumptions & Notes
For simplicity, this calculator treats the full employer contribution as going into the EPF balance and earning interest. In reality, a portion of the employer contribution may go to EPS (pension) and wage caps can apply. The model compounds contributions monthly using the annual EPF interest rate.
